This collections contains the papers of George Maxwell Blackstock Hawley (1870-1941). Hawley entered Hobart College with the class of 1892, but did not graduate with that class. He received his L.L.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1895 and returned to Geneva, NY, where he practiced law. The collection contains notes, correspondence, articles, and other writings by Hawley and others, as well as a large collection of newspaper clippings.
