Employed at Hobart and Williams Smith Colleges as an instructor in Citizenship and Political Science, 1937-1940; born: Aug. 19, 1910, Evanston, Ill.; died: Sept. 10, 2000, Syracuse, N.Y.; BA from Northwestern University, 1932; Ph. D. from the University of Chicago, 1940. John Clarke Adams went on to teach at Syracuse University after he left Hobart College.
