Scope and Contents

This collection is comprised of 16 oral history interviews with William Smith College alumnae conducted between 2001 and 2003. The interviews were part of a feminist oral history project for the Women's Studies 301 course with professor Margaret A. Weitekamp. The alumnae who were interviewed are from the classes of 1925-1956.

Topics discussed in the interviews include childhood memories, influential life events, and recollections of William Smith College.

Each interview is recorded on a VHS tape and audio cassette tape. Indexed transcripts are included, as well as reflections and proposals written by the student interviewers. All files include a release form signed by the interviewee.
