Biographical Note

The Reverend Canon John E. Kitagawa, Hobart class of 1972, was one of the principal organizers of the moratorium at HWS in 1970. After graduauting he became a rector in the Episcopal Church in Arizona.

Provenance

Rev. John E. Kitagawa, Hobart class of 1972, sent the materials to Maureen Collins Zupan, William Smith class of 1972, in March 2016. Zupan, at the time Chair of the HWS Board of Trustees, donated the materials to the Archives on October 21, 2016.
