Scope and Contents
This collection contains eight "brag books," or scrapbooks, including newspaper clippings, poems, prizes, programs and correspondence from publishers and fans. There are also two binders, one of songs written by Hunt with correspondence, the other with haiku poetry and correspondence.

Biographical Note
Evelyn Tooley Hunt was born in 1904 and graduated with a B.S. from William Smith College in 1927. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Hunt was a distinguished poet and was credited with an innovation in form for English language haiku poetry.
