Scope and Contents This collection contains informational student files created by the Hobart and William Smith Colleges Alumni and Alumnae Relations office. The files in this collection cover Geneva College, Hobart College, and William Smith College students who graduated between 1826 and 1930. Materials include newspaper clippings, articles, correspondence, information sheets, photographs, and some publications.

There are also a couple files on faculty and staff.

Abstract This collections contains the papers of George Maxwell Blackstock Hawley (1870-1941). Hawley entered Hobart College with the class of 1892, but did not graduate with that class. He received his L.L.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1895 and returned to Geneva, NY, where he practiced law. The collection contains notes, correspondence, articles, and other writings by Hawley and others, as well as a large collection of newspaper clippings. Scope and Contents This collection contains personal letters between James R. Doolittle and friends he met during his time at Geneva College (1830-1834), as well as letters to and from family members. In addition, there are a few papers and speeches written while at college and during his career, though not while he served as a U.S. Senator. Scope and Contents This collection includes the papers of David Bates Douglass, Malcolm Douglass, Sarah Hale Douglass, the Josiah Little family, the Heywood family, the Hale family, and Benjamin Hale.
