Abstract This collection contains materials related to the tumultuous events of 1968-1970, inspired primarily by student opposition to the Vietnam War. These events include the flag-washing incident, the sit-in protesting the Air Force R.O.T.C. program, the firebombing of the R.O.T.C. office in Sherrill Hall, and the campus drug raid and subsequent standoff with police.
